Harold R. McIntos, 92, of West Liberty, formerly of DeGraff, died at 1:43 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at the Green Hills Center, West Liberty.
He was born Oct. 29, 1912, in Rushsylvania, a son of the late Melvin and Izora Corwin McIntosh.
On Oct. 11, 1935, he married Ruth Flickinger in Bellefontaine, and she survives in West Liberty.
Also surviving are two sons, Richard (Janet) McIntosh of South Charleston and Robert (Susie) McIntosh of Fairfax, Va.; one daughter, Barbara (Jerry) Haas of DeGraff; eight grandchidren, Dennis (Julie) McIntosh, Deanna McIntosh and Darren (Dianna) McIntosh, all of West Liberty, David (Kelly) McIntosh of Urbana; Douglas (Veronica) McIntosh of Greenfield; Jeff (Lynn) Haas of Reynoldsburg, Brenda (Michael) Carey of Pataskala and Amy (Doug) Pursley of Overland Park, Kan.; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Lowell McIntosh; two sister, Mildred Sloan and Opal Hughes; and one grandson, Mark McIntosh.
A 1933 graduate of Rushsylvania High School, he was a lifelong farmer and a 50-year plus member of Boggs Lodge 292 F&AM, DeGraff.
Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, where Pastor Rob Kilgore conducts the funeral service at 2 p.m. Sunday. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the West Liberty EMS and the Make-A-Wish Foundation in memory of Mark McIntosh.
