Dear Bob,Julie,Joanne,Jay & family: It's not easy to lose a loved one. Tom and I both know how that feels with the passing of my parents. People have told us that in time, it won't hurt as much, but you do continue to miss them. I want you all to know how special Mary became to me. Tom and I have been married over 20 years. I came to know Bob through Tom, and worked with Joanne for a short period of time. Never did I know early on that Mary knew my Mom. Somehow, it was brought to my attention that they graduated from high school together. My mom was very ill for several years. Mary became a dear friend to mom and me through out this time. When ever mom was in the hospital she would get a card and visit from Mary. Mary would call me as well as Mom to keep in touch with how she was feeling. My sisters and I would take Mom to her class reunions after my Dad passed away. Mary would always set with us at the reunions. When Mom passed away Mary continued to show her support by attending the funeral. I guess what I am trying to say is that Mary was a special angel. She cared deeply about others. She would talk with much delight about her grandchildren. And we all know how much your Mom loved to talk, that is what added to her special personality. Every day your feet hit the floor think of a special memory you have with her. Don't be afraid to let each other know how much you miss her. You have such a wonderful family, I know you will be able to count on each other. If there is anything Tom and I can do, please let us know. With our love and sympathy, Tom and Vicki Prater
