Lois Marie Blumenschein, 78, of Degraff, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at the McAuley Center, Urbana.
Born Aug. 22, 1926, in DeGraff, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Bessie Hall Cook.
On Feb. 13, 1954, she married Gene E. Blumenschein in Bellefontaine, and he survives in DeGraff.
Also surviving are two daughters, Susan (Terry) Conley of DeGraff and Sandra (Joe) Williams of Bellefontaine; two brothers, Leonard Cook and Robert Cook, both of DeGraff; and three grandchildren.
A 1944 graduate of DeGraff High School, she was a homemaker and member of Stony Creek Church of the Brethren.
Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff. Services begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Stony Creek Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Wayne Downing and Pastor Justin Erickson officiating. Burial is in Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to her church.
