Claurys Ina Hoffman, 78, of Sidney, died at 6:34 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2005 at The Pavilion in Sidney.
She was born Jan. 15, 1927, in Springhills, Champaign County, a daughter of the late Herman William Pond and Iva Jane Pine Pond Couchman.
She married Clyde Hoffman on Dec. 23, 1944, and he survives in Sidney.
Also surviving are one daughter, Amy Jo (Greg Kiefer) Hoffman of El Dorado Hills, Calif.; two brothers, R. Dale (Sally) Couchman of Sidney and Herbert (Kay) Couchman of Bellefontaine; two sisters, Jan Couchman of Troy and Jean (Howard) Covault of Eagle, Colo.
She was preceded in death by a brother, D. William Pond.
A homemaker and graduate of Harrison Adams High School in Rosewood, she enjoyed playing cards and traveling.
Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, where the funeral begins at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Randy Terry officiating. Burial is in the Springhill Cemetery, Springhills.
