Thomas Monroe Grimes Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1951 - 2005 Thomas Monroe Grimes, 54, of Bellefontaine, died at 1:05 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2005, at Riverside Methodist Hosptial, Columbus. He was born in Muskingum County on April 9, 1951, a son of the late Ernest Monroe and Lena Essie Parrett Grimes. Survivors include brothers, Larry Grimes of Zanesfield, Robert Grimes and Ernest (Debra) Grimes, both of Lakeview, and Richard (Daren) Grimes and James (Shirley) Grimes, both of Bellefontaine; sisters, Rebecca S. Hudson of Bellefontaine, Inez Miihlbach of Urbana, Leda (James) Newberry of Pegram, Texas, Marjory (Freddy) Crisp of Chiefland, Fla., and Brenda (Bob) Spears of Olive Hill, Ky.; and many nieces and nephews. A laborer, he worked for West Liberty Auto Wrecking. The Rev. Terry Washburn conducts a funeral at 11 a.m. Friday at Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home in DeGraff, where calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial is in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
