Paul Lowell Bell, 72, of Bellefontaine, died at 7:25 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, at Heartland of Bellefontaine.

Born Dec. 31, 1932, in Quincy, he was a son of the late Clifford Harold and Flossie Twila Notestine Bell.

He married Joan Klingelhofer on Aug. 30, 1952, in Quincy and she survives.

Survivors also include two sons, David (Gloria Hilliard) Bell of DeGraff and Kevin (Cynthia) Bell of Bellefontaine; two daughters, Lisa Bell of Bellefontaine and Paula (Michael) Carlyle of Galloway; two brothers, Jim (Dorothy) Bell of Sidney and Steve (Linda) Bell of Quincy; four sisters, Carol Thornhill of El Paso, Texas, Judith Bell of Quincy, Pauline (Vern) Weller of Jamestown and Barbara (Tom) Krueger of Fairborn; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Don Bell; two sisters, Ruth Lantz and Rosemary Rice; and an infant sibling.

He worked as a warehouse man for Super Food Service and also farmed. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Friends may call one hour prior to the 11 a.m. memorial service Wednesday at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff. Lanny Stidham officiates.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
