Shirley B. Hudson, 89, of DeGraff, died at 3:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana.
She was born in Bellefontaine, OH on June 28, 1916, a daughter of the late Dr. Forest O. and Mary B. Turner Garver.
On May 27, 1939, she married Grant P. Hudson in Union City, Ind., and he died June 17, 1982.
Survivors include daughters, Lindsay (Donnie) Shoopman of DeGraff and Amy (Steve) Davis of Racine Wis.; six grandchildren, Dean Kessler, Howard Kessler, Katherine Habodasz, Greg Shoopman, Rachael Davis and Ledia Davis; and eight great-grandchildren.
A homemaker and DeGraff High School graduate, she attended Bowling Green State University.
The Rev. Beverly Avers will conduct a graveside service at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2005 at Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and the Americam Cancer Society.
