Our sincere condolences to Melvin's family. We had the privilege of knowing Melvin & Celia for a number of years. They granted us permission to hunt on their property and afterward we would always enjoy their sweet fellowship and a piece of Celia's pie. We visited Melvin often after Celia's death until he went to live with his niece. We were saddened to learn from our friend Kathryn Godwin, that Melvin had died. We knew him to be a gentle man, eager to help us bring in our harvest with his tractor and so energetic for his age, always chewing on a cigar and seemed to enjoy the deer meet and sauage we shared with him. He will be remembered with great love. Most Sincerely, Kevin & Kathleen Werth Wapakoneta, OH

My mother, Mildred Holycross/Henry/Spain was a first cousin to Melvin. I hadn't seen him since Celia's funeral but just wanted to extend my condolences to the family. God bless you all.
