Paul McClintick Jr., 70, of Quincy, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.

He was born in Urbana on May 6, 1935, a son of the late Paul D. Sr. and Mary Straley McClintick. On May 21, 1954, he married the former Ruth Louise Metzger in Champaign County and she died Dec. 5, 1996.

He also was preceded in death by two daughters, Janet Sue and Alice Ann McClintick. Survivors include a daughter, Karen Nichols of Quincy; a son, Mark (Diana) McClintick of Raymond; sisters, Katherine Headlee and Mary (Robert) Gullett, both of Urbana; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A farmer, he graduated from Urbana High School.

Private services will take place at the convenience of the family. Burial is in Fairview Cemetery, Mutual. Arrangements were handled by Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff. Memorial contributions may be made to the Riverside EMS and Quincy/Miami Township Fire and Rescue.

Dear Karen and Mark, Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. You seem so young to have lost both your parents. We never visited much but do remember times when Uncle Roy and Aunt Mary Helen were alive.Again we offer you our sympathy. Donna and Kenny
