Dear Mrs. Linthicum, My wife and I are retired school teachers from Indian Lake High School. We have just received the Bellefontaine Examiner here in Florida and saw Mr. Linthicum's obituary. We wanted to express our heartfelt sympathy to you for your loss. We have grand memories of Forda. In 1977 we first stopped at your place asking for help with harness. We'd been given a pony for our daughter but needed professional help from your husband. He welcomed us to call on him any time. In the late 1980's, Jan invited him to speak to her special needs students at the high school. He gave a talk on work ethics which was so inspiring that she remembers details to this day! As high school advisor to the Student Council, I called on Forda and asked him to drive his horse and wagon in one of our Homecoming parades. Not only did he agree to participate, but he located two or three other horse owners to help us out also. What sweet memories we have of him. With Sympathy, Jim & Jan Kubiak
