Donald James Siegenthaler Click for Condolences      Printable Version

Donald James Siegenthaler, 84, of Quincy, died at 5:10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney.

Born Nov. 8, 1922, in West Liberty, he was a son of the late Gottlieb Timothy and Mary Elizabeth Roush Siegenthaler. He was a truck driver for the Ohio Department of Transportation, District 7, in Sidney, and was a member of the Buckeye Gospel Barn in Quincy.

He married Shirley Eileen Beaver in Bellefontaine and she survives along with two daughters, Judy Lynn Siegenthaler and Mary Ann Wynn, both of Bellefontaine; one sister, Florence of Perrysburg; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Kenneth Siegenthaler, Robert Siegenthaler, Max Siegenthaler and Sam Siegenthaler.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, where the funeral follows at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Jerry Allen officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donors' favorite charities.
