Ruth Evelyn Kendall, 72, of Quincy, died Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at her residence.
She was born in Jackson Center on March 11, 1935, a daughter of the late Jacob F. and Alma Pearl Gray Pulfer.
On July 18, 1954, she married Arvie Power Kendall in Jackson Center, and he survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Cindy Kendall of Sidney, Carol (Lowell) Hines of Quincy and Debra (James) Roby of DeGraff; three brothers, Richard Pulfer and Kenneth Pulfer, both of Wapakoneta, and Paul (Helen) Pulfer of Maplewood; a sister, Deloris Fogt of Anna; and four grandchildren, Justin Trostel, David Trostel, Jimmy Roby and Michael Roby. She was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Pulfer.
A 1953 DeGraff High School graduate, she worked as a press operator at Stolle Corp. in Sidney for 30 years. She was a member of the Quincy Chapel Church of Christ in Christian Union and enjoyed cooking and traveling.
The Rev. LeRoy Hughes conducts a funeral at 8 p.m. Friday at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, where calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and two hours prior to the service. She will be cremated and her ashes will be interred at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, at the convenience of the family.
