Betty Louise Buchenroth

Betty Louise Buchenroth, 78, of Huntsville, died at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, in Heartland of Bellefontaine.

Born in Logan County on July 23, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Harold C. and Edith Shafer Foreman.

She married Ned Buchenroth Sr. on July 16, 1948, in Logan County, and he survives, along with three sons, Mike Buchenroth, Ned Jr. (Beverly) Buchenroth and Ronald (Diana) Buchenroth, all of Huntsville; a daughter, Carolyn (Mike) Brinkman of Bellefontaine; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Delores (Max) Thomas of Lakeview.

She also was preceded in death by three grandchildren and a brother, Ralph Foreman.

A 1947 graduate of Zanesfield High School, she worked in the cafeterias in the Indian Lake School District for 25 years.

Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home in DeGraff. Pastor Brian Meadows officiates at a funeral beginning at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Huntsville United Methodist Church, where she was a member.

Buchenroth Family, Sorry to hear of loss in your family. I remember her as a very nice and friendly lady at school, church, and as the grandmother of a close friend. I am saddened to have heard of her passing. Sincerely, Jeffrey Fullerton

Dear Ned Jr, Ron, Carolyn and Uncle Ned, I just heard through the mail that Betty passed. I've thought of all the times we had together and remember her beautiful smile and loving heart. My prayers are for you all in this sad time. I know Grandma and Betty are together watching over us all.
