Frances Anna Linthicum
Frances Anna Linthicum, 90, of DeGraff, and formerly of rural Huntsville, died at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at Logan Acres.
She was born in Bellefontaine on March 22, 1917, a daughter of the late Harley Wilson and Clara Christine Kuntzman Kerr.
On Nov. 25, 1936, she married Forda Wilson Linthicum in Union City, Ind., and he died Sept. 12, 2006. She also was preceded in death by a brother, James Lewis Kerr; and a sister, Martha Robison.
Survivors include two brothers, John (Shirley) Kerr and Richard (Carol) Kerr, both of Bellefontaine; and many nieces and nephews.
A 1935 graduate of DeGraff High School, she was a homemaker and member of Stony Creek Church of the Brethren, where she taught Sunday School for many years. An avid gardener, she enjoyed the outdoors.
She and her husband farmed and operated the Linthicum Leather Shop for more than 33 years and attended the Lewistown United Methodist Church when they lived in the Huntsville area.
Pastor Wayne Downing and Barry Baughman conduct a funeral at 11 a.m. Monday at Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, where calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Burial is in Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
