Ronnie David Hall, 65, of De Graff, died at 3:55 AM Saturday, April 5, 2008, at Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine.
He was born on Monday, May 18, 1942, in Springfield, OH, a son of the late Arnold and Martha Ellen Smith Hall.
On August 4, 1963, he married Nancy Elizabeth Gump in De Graff and she survives along with a daughter, Tawni Hall of Marion, OH; daughter & son in law, Lori & Steve Meade of De Graff, OH; brother & sister in law, Burley E. & Pat Hall of Cable, OH; Three half brothers and sisters in law; Rickie & Betti Smith of Mingo, OH, Brian & Carla Smith of South Vienna, OH and Joseph & Dana Smith of Urbana, OH; six grand children, Michael Meade, David Meade, Daniel Meade, Kerri Meade, Jordan Fultz, and Kirsten Fultz; and one great grand daughter, Julia Marie Meade.
One son, Christopher D. Hall and one sister , Judy Hall are deceased.
A 1961 Graduate of Salem High School, Kingscreek, he was Road Superintendant for Miami Township having just retired Jan. 1, 2008. His duties for Miami Twp. also included taking care of Fairview Cemetery , Quincy. He was on the De Graff Fire Dept. for over 20 years. He very much enjoyed watching his grandchidren's activities. Was an avid NASCAR, O.S.U., Reds and Bengals fan. He coached girls basketball at Riverside Local Schools for many years. Was a collector of farm toys. Owned and operated Ron's Pizza in De Graff for 23 years.
The family will receive friends at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden F.H. on Tuseday, April 8, 2008 from 2 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, with Pastor Bill Halter officiating. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff, OH.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Chris Hall Memorial Scholarship Fund.
