Edward Lee McFarlin Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1944 - 2008 Edward Lee McFarlin, 64, of Quincy, died at 4:52 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at Green Hills Retirement Community, West Liberty. He was born in Logan County on Aug. 9, 1944, a son of Ernest A. McFarlin of Bellefontaine and the late Mary Elizabeth Burton McFarlin. Survivors include a brother, Ernest R. (Darlene) McFarlin of East Liberty, and two sisters, Marjorie (Howard) Johnson of West Plains, Mo., and Kathleen (Dennis) Williams of Zanesfield. A brother, John W. McFarlin, preceded him in death. He was a horse jockey. Pastor Robert Long conducts a funeral at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, where calling is one hour prior to the service. Burial is in Fairview Cemetery, Quincy.

Ed was a great friend of mine. I am sad that I only knew him two years. He could make anyone laugh. I know he is with the Lord now so that makes me happy!!

I only had the previledge of knowing Ed. for a short period of time. I am thankful for that time; for Ed was a special person and will be sadly missed. With Deepest Sympathy
