Marie Lloyd Petty Fry, 87, of Bellefontaine, died at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at Communitys Hearth and Home, Springfield.
She was born in Helenwood, Tenn., on Feb. 7, 1921, a daughter of the late Marion and Mary Massengale Lloyd. She also was preceded in death by brothers, Lonny Lloyd and Virgil Lloyd.
Survivors include her husband, William Fry; a son, Franklin (Harlean) Anderson of Springfield; granddaughters, Teresa (Brian) Stokes of Urbana and Linda (Scott) Wright of Lima; five greatgrandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
A homemaker, she attended Calvary Baptist Church in Bellefontaine.
Rick Petty conducts a funeral at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, where calling is one hour prior. Burial is in the Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty.
