I am so sorry that I could not make the calling hours or the funeral. I was working and responsible for the B&B while the owner was out of town for two weeks. Therefore I could not make the calling hours or the funeral. I just wish to say that my family connection with Raymond and Clara go way back. I have such fond memories of Girl Scouts, 4-H, and all high school activities which included my first experience at the county fair, years ago and Raymond letting me assist Debbie while she prepared to show her heifers. I also had the opportunity to spend many an overnight and enjoying the music that filled their household, as Clara and Debbie both played the piano and organ. Raymond was a wonderful Father, husband and good friend to many people. He always greeting me with open arms and a heart of gold. I so do appreciate the opportunity to have been welcomed into their family and I know he will be missed by many. We all know that he is at peace now and his past few years will not his best. I cannot put into words how much this man meant to me as I grew up. My deepest and fondest regrets to the entire family. Trelene Sauer Turner

Just wanted to let you know that we are praying for the family. Mom, Lucille Stanley, is in Logan Acres nursing home in a weakened mental state, but on her behalf, I wanted to contact the family. Please give Clara a hug from my mom as they were in Agrarian Club for so many years together. I remember all the fun that Dad, Roe Stanley, and Russ would have at the picnics.
