Doris Marie Bricker, 79, of De Graff, died at 7:47 PM Sunday, December 21, 2008, at her residence.
She was born on September 29, 1929, in Rosewood, Ohio, a daughter of the late Oran C. and Agnes Irene Fix Strong
She married Roy C. Bricker, Jr on March 28, 1947 in Urbana, Ohio and he preceded her in death on February 15, 1978. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Strong and sister, Deloris Williamson.
Survivors include her daughter & son in law; Rita (Millard) Shaffer of Quincy and Sherri (Gary) Pence of St. Paris. A sister Betty Wallace of Huntsville. 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild
She was a homemaker, member of Springhill Presbyterian Church and its Womans organization, She enjoyed her family, gardening and history.
Calling hours will be on Friday, December 26, 2008 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 26, 2008 Springhill Presbyterian Church, Springhill with Pastor Angie Schenck officiating. Burial is in the Rosedale Cemetery, Careysville. Arrangements are being handled by Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home in DeGraff.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to her church.
