I was so sad to hear about the passing of Virginia. I still have letters that she wrote me when I lived in Denver in the 80's. She would write me small notes and include "Family Circus" cartoons from the paper. I'll always remember her as my mom's Avon lady as a little girl and always looked forward to her coming to our house with the new collectable bottles that my mom would always buy. Later in life, she remained a good friend to my mom and dad. She was a wonderful woman and even though in the past years I didn't see or talk to her much, I will miss just knowing that she was still spreading her laughter around. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

To the family of Virginia Knief, Virginia was one of the most kind, sweet and gentle persons I have ever known. My Mother, Marilyn J. Knief is also a surviving daughter in law which is not mentioned in the obituary. We all loved Virginia dearly and will miss her so. Virginia would always visit with us kids as we grew up in DeGraff and offer cookies and treats. She loved to sit and talk with you and was so genuine and generous. I loved how she would cut out cartoons from the paper and place a few into a birthday or Christmas card and always write a nice note. She was the best Avon lady ever and a wonderful Grandmother to us. We love you Virginia, rest in peace. Love, Bobbi
