Frances Irene Newman, 87, of Quincy, died at 9:50 AM Friday, January 30, 2009, at her home in Quincy.
She was born February 5, 1921, in Maplewood, OH, a daughter of the late Albert John and Florence Leona Leach Smith.
On July 16, 1939, she married James Cecil Newman in De Graff and he survives.
Other survivors include, a son; Michael Newman of Quincy, a daughter; Bonnie L. Newman and two grand children.
She was a homemaker and a 1938 graduate of Quincy High School.
Burial will take place in the Fairview Cemetery, Quincy at the convenience of the family. There will be no services.
