Laura Rosella Bell, 99, of Quincy, died at 12:55 PM Friday, February 6, 2009, at her residence.

She was born on May 18, 1909, near Rosewood in Conover, Ohio, a daughter of the late John S and Elizabeth Baker Stoker

She married Hollis Irvin Bell on May 2, 1931 in Newport, KY and he preceded her in death on June 9, 1994.

Relatives include a son, Holmes E. Bell of Quincy; two grandchildren, David & Joanne Bell of Bellefontaine and Greg & Missy Bell of Quincy; and five great-grandchildren. A brother, Nick Stoker preceded her in death.

She was a 1927 graduate of Rosewood High School, homemaker and member of the Quincy United Methodist Church and its Friendship Class. She was also a member of the Quincy Senior Citizens.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, February 8, 2009 from 2 to 6 p.m.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 9, 2009 Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, with Chaplain Philip K. Chilcote officiating. Burial is in the Fairview Cemetery, Quincy OH

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Wilson Hospice.
