I haven't seen Les for such a long time, but I know exactly what Daphne means when she talks about the void. Just because we were miles apart, in no way lessens the pain and the sorrow that I feel deep in my soul. Les was such a huge part of my life, as a baby, a child, a teenager, and a young adult. As we grow older, so many of us tend to drift away from our families to start a life of our own, but the emotional bond that was created, remains, never weakening, never ending.
I guess what I'm saying is that we can be removed from each other, in the physical sense, but, the memories are something that will stay with us, and no one can ever take them away from us.
Daphne, Greg, Mike, Michelle, and Leslie, I hope that we can keep in touch, and remind each other that we are a strong family, with strong, unconditional love for each other.
May God grant us the grace of His presence with a huge group hug, and allow us to feel His loving arms around us all during this time of sadness. I love you all so much!
RIP Les You will always be in my heart!
