Eva Lena Spain Carman Jackson, 73, of DeGraff, died on Friday, June 26, 2009, at her residence.
She was born on February 8, 1936, in DeGraff, a daughter of the late Louis Ezray Spain and Maggie Leota Nevers Spain Smith. She was also preceded in death by a daughter; Margie Sue Dennison, brothers; Eddy LeRoy Spain, Lawrence Spain, Donald Spain and Gerald Spain.
Survivors include sons, Bruce (Shirley) Carman of St Paris, David Carman of Bellefontaine, James Dale Landers of Urbana. A sister; Marjorie (Ray) Hittepole of DeGraff, grandchildren; Shawn Dennison of Lakeview, Billie Dennison of Lakeview, Rebecca Carman of Bellefontaine, Jenna Carman of Bellefontaine, Ryan Carman of Bellefontaine and Shellby Mays of Lakeview.
She attended DeGraff High School, was a homemaker and member of the DeGraff United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 3, 2009 at Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff, with Carolyn Christman officiating.
