1957 - 2009
Roxanne Sue Lauber, 51, of Conover, died at 4:15 AM Friday, August 14, 2009, at her home.
She was born August 21, 1957, in Lima, a daughter of the late Donald Leon Simpkins and Jo Ann Jenkins Snider of De Graff.
On November 8, 1996, she married Chrisopher Brian Lauber in Casstown and he survives. Other survivors include, two sons; Justin Hatfield of Bellefontaine and Lucas Hatfield of London, two brothers; Larry Joe (Ti) Simpkins and David D. Simpkins both of Quincy, and two grand children.
A Beloved wife and wonderful mother, she will be sorely missed by all who knew her and were fortunate enough to have known her. She loved life and all it brought. She loved all her animals, mostly dogs and they were a part of her family. The world is a better place for having her be a part of it. She was a 1974 graduate of Indian Lake High School and was an employee of Honda Transmission.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 16, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, where services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 17, 2009 with Pastor Henry Mallon officiating. Burial is in the Casstown Cemetery, Casstown.

Roxie will be missed greatly. I was at MIS yesterday and didn't get to make it for the viewing. But I know that she would have wanted it that way. I cheered for 88 and toasted to her when he led a lap for her in her honor! Love you Roxie!!!
