Avril May Knief Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1917 - 2009 Avril May Knief, 92, of DeGraff, died at 2:10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at Heartland of Indian Lake. A homemaker, she was born April 28, 1917, in Bloomfield Township, a daughter of the late Edward and Iona Pearl Piper Knief. She also was preceded in death by five brothers, Paul R., Russell, Eugene, Oliver and John Knief. Survivors include two nieces, Betty Wren of Bellefontaine and Dixie (Dwaine) Golliday of Lewistown; and four nephews, Farrell (Roberta) Knief and James (Connie) Knief, both of Lewistown, and Jerry (Karen) Knief and Dale (Velda) Knief, both of DeGraff. The family receives friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff. The Rev. Edward Shady officiates a graveside service at 11 a.m. Thursday in Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
