Larry David "Butch" Mitchell, 64, of DeGraff, died at 5:22 AM Thursday, May 27, 2010, at Mary Rutan Hospital.
He was born in Bellefontaine on August 27, 1945, a son of the late Walker W. and Leatha M. Forsythe Mitchell
He married Gay Denise Wren on February 14, 1981 in Russells Point and she survives; along with a brother, Robert (Becky) Mitchell of Lima; his farming partner and nephew, Jason Hanger; nephew, Ryan Mitchell and nieces, Missy Mitchell and Shawn Mitchell.
He was a farmer and 1963 graduate of Indian Lake High School, US Army veteran whom was a member of the Lakeview Am Vets Post #39, and the Central Ohio Tractor Pullers Association.
Rev. Barry Baughman conducts a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff where calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to American Heart Association.
