Kathryn Eva Cupps Click for Condolences      Printable Version
1930 - 2010

Our loving mother and grandmother Kathryn Eva Goings Cupps, 80, of DeGraff, went to be with her Lord on Friday, June 25, 2010, at 4:35 p.m. with her family by her side at her home.

On May 8, 1930 she was born in Alger the daughter of the late Harvey Sr., and Myrtle (Legge) Goings.

On May 8, 1948, she married Walter Cupps in Quincy and he preceded her in death on December 3, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Beverly Kay (Cupps) Beatty on March 26, 2001.

Surviving members of her family include two daughters, Connie (Ron) Roby of Quincy and Sonja Cupps of DeGraff; one grandson, David (Nicole) Roby of Cincinnati; two granddaughters, Kimberly Shepherd of Quincy and Katie Beatty of DeGraff; three great-grandchildren, Danielle (Bryan) Prater of Huntsville, Lane Shepherd of Russells Point and Tyler Roby of Cincinnati and one great-grandson, Kazz Shepherd.

A private graveside service was observed on Sunday, June 27th officiated by Rev. LeRoy Hughes. Burial was in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Logan County Cancer Society and the Bellefontaine Church of Christ in Christian Union (New Beginnings).
