
Rebecca Taylor Kreglow, 96, of Conover, died at 7:45 AM Thursday, March 31, 2011, at her home.
She was born in Northfield on October 20, 1914, a daughter of the late Forman and Grace Huchison Prater.
On April 3, 1935 she married Russell S. Taylor in Pontiac, MI and he preceded her in death on October 30, 1962. On June 26, 1976 she married Robert C. Kreglow in DeGraff and he preceded her in death on May 15, 1999.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard Taylor; a daughter, Patricia Strayer; a stepson, Gene Robert Kreglow; two sisters, Marie Curry and Juanita Linville; and a grandson, James Strayer.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol LeFever of Conover; a stepdaughter, Janis Spivey of DeGraff; four grandchildren, Jayne Strayer of Bellefontaine,
Rebecca Carroll of Urbana, Kay Harrell of Grove Hill, Alabama and Linda Holoman of Bellefontaine; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
For many years, she owned and operated Taylor's Restaurant in DeGraff.
A member of Bellefontaine Chapter 459 Order of the Eastern Star, she was two-time past Matron of Constance Chapter 78 OES, De Graff.
She liked to garden, fish & sew and attended the Logansville Community Church.
The Rev. Floyd Lundy conducts a funeral at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2011 at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home in DeGraff, where calling will be on Sunday, April 3, 2011 from 2 to 5 p.m. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Universal Home Health and Hospice.
