
Caroline Mae Ropp, 80, of De Graff, died at 9:40 AM Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at Green Hills Center, West Liberty.
She was born April 19, 1931, in Urbana, OH, a daughter of the late Charles Samuel and Thirza A. Bodey Stroud.
On April 22, 1955, she married Ralph Ropp, Jr. in Rosewood and he died January 18, 2008. She was also preceded in death by four Brothers; Paul S., John W., Russell C. and Lee Stroud.
Survivors include a Son; Richard (Lisa) Ropp of Bellefontaine, four Daughters; Sherry (Doug) Butler, Brenda (Rick) King, Valerie (Rick) Scott all of De Graff, and Crystal (Jim) Lee of Bellefontaine, fifteen Grand Children, twenty four Great Grand Children, and several Nieces and Nephews.
Caroline was a graduate of Rosewood High School and a retired employee of Copeland Corporation, Sidney. She was a member of Kennard Nazarene Church, Kennard and she and her husband owned and operated Ma & Pa's Restaurant north of De Graff for many years.
The family will receive friends at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, De Graff on Fri., Oct. 28, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the funeral home, with Pastor Curtis Randolph officiating. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimers Association.
