Lawrence E. "Bud" Carman Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1940 - 2012 Lawrence Edwin "Bud" Carman, Sr., 72, of Jackson Center, died at 8:00 AM Friday, July 13, 2012, at his home. He was born February 1, 1940, in Jackson, OH, a son of the late Byron and Leafy May Walker Carman. On August 31, 1969, he married Donna J. Barbee in Jackson Center and she died October 6, 2010. He was also preceded in death by a Son; Lawrence E. "Buddy" Carman, Jr., a Daughter; Ginger L. Carman, two Brothers; Roger and Owen Carman, and a Sister; Carole Peele. He is survived by two Daughters; Betty Jean (Mark) Byrd of Port Jefferson, Sherry Lee (Tony) Vonderhuevel of Quincy, a Step Daughter; Kelly Gross of Jackson Center, two Brothers; James (Nancy) Carman of Lakeview, William "Butch" (Sharon) Carman of De Graff, a Sisters; Juanita Lattimer of West Liberty, eight Grand Children; Mark Byrd, Jr., Tara (Matt) Stotler, Shannon (Carl) Marshall, Shawna (Joe) Dutrow, Ashley (Kevin) Dunn, Christopher, Kylie and Michelle Carman, two Step Grandchildren, nine Great Grand Children and two step Great Grand Children. He was a retired Manager at Airstream in Jackson Center and he also worked in construction. He played softball for many years to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis and he was also an avid NASCAR fan. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
