Virginia May Swartzendruber Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1923 - 2012 Virginia May Swartzendruber, 89, a former resident of Bellefontaine died at 4:30 PM Friday, August 10, 2012, in Buckley, Washington. She was born, May 8, 1923, in Champaign Co., and was a daughter of John Carey and Ella La Porte. On October 2, 1946, she married Omar Edward Swartzendruber in Troy and he died December 3, 1999. Survivors include a Son; Dan (Cindy) Swartzendruber of Enumclaw, WA and Three Grand Children. She was a retired cook for Bellefontaine City Schools. Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, with Pastor Ray Headings officiating. Burial is in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery, West Liberty. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

This dear lady is my mother, I was not mentioned in the obituary and also was not notified that she was even sick. Its a shame. A few years ago when she was taken from our home I called and left a message there at rexer riggin to please let me know if anyone attempted to access her plot and was promisted I would be notified. It did not happen, now my mother is gone and no bothered to let me know. Thanks.
