Herbert Polk Inskeep, 95, of West Liberty and formerly of Bellefontaine, died at 12:15 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2012.
He was born December 10, 1916, in Providence, Rhode Island, a son of the late Herbert and Florence Polk Inskeep. He was also preceded in death by a Son; Donald Inskeep.
On December 24, 1934, he married Mary Lou Mohr in Bellefontaine and she survives.
Other survivors include a Son; Gerald E. Inskeep of Bellefontaine, four Grand Children; Todd Inskeep, Robin Neer, Shelley Inskeep and Jana Strzalka, ten Great Grand Children and 5 Great Great Grand Children.
He was a farmer; he attended Stonycreek Church of the Brethren, was a member of Bellefontaine Lodge # 209 F. &A.M., Logan Farm Bureau, served on the Logan County Fair Board several years and was a long time 4-H advisor. He and his wife wintered in Florida for several years.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 25, 2012 from noon until time of the service which will be held at 2:00 PM at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, with Rev. Wayne Downing officiating. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Stonycreek Church or Universal Home Health and Hospice.
