Passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at LakeView Community Hospital, Paw Paw. Sally was born June 11, 1944 in Harrisburg, IL the daughter of Harold and Mary (Purdom) West. She was a graduate of the University of Illinois and received her master’s degree from Western Michigan University. Sally was employed by the State of Michigan as a Day Care Licensing Consultant and was a member of the American Assoc. of University Women, the League of Women Voters, the LakeView Community Hospital Board of Directors and Paw Paw Housing Commission Board. Surviving are 2 daughter’s, Laura Sullivan of Oak Park, IL, Theresa “Tess” (Jeff) Sullivan-Grote of Columbus, OH; sister, Deborah (Richard) Selman of Three Lakes, WI; brother, Thomas (Zilla) West of Omaha, IL. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Beeler in 1990. Friends are being received Saturday, April 12, 2003 12:30 to 1:30 pm at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw where services will follow at 1:30 pm. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery, Cottonwood, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the West Michigan Cancer Center or the Heifer Project International (www.heifer.org).
