Charles E. Rife Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1918 - 2003 AGE: 84 RIFE, Charles E. Lawton Passed away Thursday, May 08, 2003 at LakeView Continuing Care Center, Lawton. Charles was born, August 27, 1918 in Anderson, IN the son of Charles and Minnie (Sites) Rife. Charles retired as a meat packer from the former Peter Eckrich Co. in Kalamazoo. On October 16, 1940 in Dowagiac Charles was united in marriage to the former Betty Jane Barrons who survives. Also surviving are 5 sons, James Rife of Kalamazoo, David (Debbie) Rife of Paw Paw, Jerald (Carrie) Rife of Bloomingdale, Kenneth (Debra) Rife of Kalamazoo, Michael (Bonnie) Rife of Orlando, FL; 2 daughters, Barbara Kaarlie of Lamars, IA, Beverly Babbitt of Grand Rapids; 21 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. Private family services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice. Arrangements by the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
