Passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 4, 2003 at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo. Harold was born June 19, 1924 in Almena, Michigan the son of James Albert and Verna May (Heller) Hall. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion, McGowan-Johnson Post # 68, Paw Paw. He was a block and bricklayer retiring in 1989 and then was employed by Foster Asphalt Company for 20 years. Surviving are 2 sons, Skip (Carol) Hall of Gobles, and James Hall of Paw Paw; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Charles (Thelma) Hall and Richard (Lillian) Hall; sister, Betty Lisowski all of Paw Paw; many nieces and nephews. 2 sisters, Hazel Fitzsimmons in 1949 and Maxine Treat in 1998, and a brother, Donald Hall in 2002 preceded Harold in death. Family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw where services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2003, 11 a.m. with Rev. Carolyn Spragg officiating. Burial in Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan.
