Passed away Wednesday morning March 19, 2003 at her home. Maggie was born December 1, 1939 in Paw Paw, Michigan the daughter of Tony and Alice (Miles) Stimac. Maggie was a graduate of Paw Paw High School and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She was a member of trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw and was a member and past president of the American Legion, McGowan-Johnson Unit #68 Auxiliary. On December 24, 1964 in Paw Paw Maggie was united in marriage to David R. Goddard who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Joseph D. Paulus of Chicago, IL and Jeffrey Goddard of Lawton; daughter, Julie (Raymond) Grehl of Clayton, NC; granddaughter Kayla Grehl; mother, Alice Stimac of Paw Paw; sister, Jennie (Jerry) Atwater of Paw Paw; 2 brothers, Joe Stimac and Clarence (Linda) Stimac both of Paw Paw; many nieces and nephews. Her father, Tony preceded Maggie in death in 1999. Family will receive friends today (Friday) 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the new location of the ADAMS Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 22, 2003, 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw with Rev. C. William Weis officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran School Scholarship Fund, American Diabetes Assoc or the American heart Assoc.
