Passed away Saturday, January 11, 2003. El was born November 5, 1913 in Chicago, IL the son of Fred and Martha (Fritz) Rohr. El was a member of Paw Paw United Methodist Church, Arroyo Grande United Methodist Church, Kiwanis Club of Paw Paw, A.A.R.P., Masonic Lodge # 934 F &AM, Hinsdale, IL, the Scottish Rite Valley of Chicago, and Carpenters Union Local # 1889, Downers Grove, IL. On November 24, 1937 in Hinsdale, IL El was united in marriage to the former Winifred M. Zastrow who preceded him in death on August 20, 2002. El was also preceded in death by a brother, Edwin. Surviving are a 2 sons, John (Elaine) Rohr of Pasadena, CA; and David (Judy) Rohr of Grover Beach, CA; 5 grandchildren, Kevin (Valerie) Timothy (Ann), Johanna, Kathleen and Daniel Rohr; 2 great grandchildren, Lili and Aidan Rohr; brother and spouse, Willis (Ruth) Rohr of Hinsdale, IL. Friends are being received Sunday, January 19, 1-2- p.m. at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw. A memorial service for both El and his wife Winnie will be held Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, 2 p.m. at the Paw Paw United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Patterson officiating. Cemetery chapel services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Westmont, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to Paw Paw United Methodist Church.
