Passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at home. Ed was born December 2, 1921 in Chicago, IL the son of Steve and Harriet (Mantale) Konar. He was a Veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Navy, and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and McGowan-Johnson American Legion Post #68, Paw Paw. Ed was united in marriage to the former Evelyn Stanislawski in Chicago who preceded him in death in 1994. On March 11, 1999 in Paw Paw Ed was united in marriage to the former Rebecca Elewell who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters, Diane Penn of Orlando, FL, Pam Range of Houston, TX; son, Richard Konar of Breedsville; 2 grandchildren. Graveside services were held at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Van Buren County. Arrangements by ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
