Passed away Monday morning, March 10, 2003 at LakeView Continuing Care Center, Lawton. Peter was born June 30, 1913 in Painesdale, MI the son the late Frank and Mary (Pintar) Stiglich. He was a grape farmer in Paw Paw and was a member of the National Grape Cooperative and the Van Buren County Farm Bureau. Peter loved hunting, farming, bowling and playing cards. Surviving are sister, Frances M. Witte and a brother, Dr. George Stiglich, DDS, both of Paw Paw; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Peter was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jack and Frank Stiglich, Sr; and 4 sisters, Antonia Kowal, Catherine Kreie, Anna Pinter and Josephine Stiglich. Family will receive friends Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Thursday, March 13, 2003, 11 a.m. with Rev. C. William Weis of Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Hospice of Van Buren County.
