Passed away Sunday morning, July 6, 2003 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Bob was born July 19, 1926 in Lawton, MI the son of late Clarence and Opal Kimble. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion, McGowan-Johnson Post # 68, Paw Paw. He was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw where he was custodian for several years and was a member of the Van Buren County F.O.P. On December 18, 1948 in Paw Paw, Bob was united in marriage to the former Lenore E. Martin who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Anthony (Mary) Bentley of Lawton and Patrick (Linda) Bentley of Mattawan; 6 grandchildren, Jason, Michael (Julia), Justin, Lance, Tony Jr. and Sarah; 1 niece and 1 nephew. Bob was preceded in death by a brother, Nolan Bentley. Family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw. Interment with military honors will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lawton. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church School.
