Passed away Sunday afternoon, July 20, 2003 at LakeView Community Hospital, Paw Paw. Mary Jane was born October 17, 1924 in Kalamazoo the daughter of the late Ralph and Lulu (Kibby) Stine. She was employed at the Van Buren County Abstract office for 30 years before her retirement. Mary Jane was a member of the Paw Paw United Methodist Church, and the Paw Paw Sewing Club. On July 14, 1945 in South Bend, IN. Mary Jane was united in marriage to Nels D. Sjolin who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, David Sjolin of Ballwin, MO and Paul (Sue) Sjolin of Spring, TX; granddaughter, Jennifer Sjolin of Riverside, CA; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, a sister, Alice Getman and 2 brothers, Richard and Clare Stine preceded her in death. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 23rd, 11 a.m. at the Paw Paw United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
