Passed away Friday, August 29, 2003 at Kairos Dwelling, Kalamazoo. Jack was born July 24, 1925 in Detroit the son of Antoni and Clara (Schamahorn) Misuraca. Jack was a WW II Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. Jack was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Paw Paw and the Benevolent Protective Order of the ELKS, Kalamazoo. On August 24, 1945 in Paw Paw Jack was united in marriage to the former Jennie Angiline Lelli who preceded him in death on July 9, 2003. Surviving are 4 sons, Tony, Greg, and Kirt (Lisa) Misuraca all of Tucson, AZ, Matthew (Maureen) Misuraca of Palm Springs, CA; daughter, Karen (Paul) Hamre of Paw Paw; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Katie (Gene) Mitchell of Paw Paw, Josephine Howard of St. Joseph; great aunt, Catherine Cusamano of Paw Paw. Friends will be received Tuesday 6-8 pm at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw, where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 1:30 pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Paw Paw, with Rev. Fr. Robert F. Creagan, Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to Kairos Dwelling, Kalamazoo.
