Passed away Friday, August 29, 2003 at home. William was born July 24, 1915 in Lawton the son of William and Rose (Sonnenburg) Krumrei. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater. William was a member of the American Legion, McGowan-Johnson Post #68, Paw Paw, member of the Eagles Aerie #4310, Paw Paw, and enjoyed bingo, gardening and was an avid White Sox fan. He retired from Coca Cola in Paw Paw. On February 4, 1939 in Lawton William was united in marriage to the former Veronica Anna Urban who preceded him in death on January 5, 2001. surviving are 6 daughters, Kathryn Kirby of Decatur, Rosemary (John) Fouth of Lawton, Janette (Alan) Brockway, Jerry (Charles) Lindenbach, Veronica (Herb) Rose, Denice (David) Overacker all of Paw Paw; son, William (Louise) Krumrei of Paw Paw; 29 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. William was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Douglas, grandson, Jason Fouth, great grandson, Brandon Lindenbach, son-in-laws, Andrew Kirby and Henry Ritsema. Friends are being received Tuesday 6-8 pm at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw where services will be held, Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Ron Brooks, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lawton. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Van Buren County.
