Passed away Sunday, September 20, 2003 at home. Dorothy was born August 29, 1922 in Maloy, Iowa, the daughter of Rew and Gladys (Elliot) Keenan. Dorothy was a retired teacher and a member of the National Education Association, Iowa State Education Association, Reading Teachers Association and AARP. On June 25, 1941 in Atchison, Kansas, Dorothy was united in marriage to Clarence B. Hall, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Wincie (Jon) Armiger of Lawton; 2 sons, David (Beth) Hall of State College, PA, Philip (Sue) Hall of Tipton, IA; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Karl (Donna) Keenan of Missouri, Robert (Betty) Keenan of Omaha, NE; 2 sisters, Jean (Karl) Wurster of Mountain Home, AR, Virginia (Fred) Siverly of Clearfield, IA; many nieces and nephews; Dorothy was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Keenan. Memorial services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2003 at Blockton Christian Church, Blockton, IA, with Mr. Scott Marcum, Officiating.
