Passed away Sunday evening, November 9, 2003 at his home. Neal was born July 4, 1922 in Minonk, IL the son of Thomas and Louise (May) Ward. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. He was an electrician in Kalamazoo for many years before his retirement. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw, life member of the Fennville V.F.W. Post # 7911, and the International Brothers of Electrical Workers Union Local # 131, Kalamazoo. H was united in marriage to the former Mildred L. Block who preceded him in death in June of 1975. On May 24, 1985 in Holland, Neal was united in marriage to Caroline M. Reum who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Jan (Bruce) Rowland of Greenville, MI; grandsons, Chad and Brent Rowland of Greenville; son, Larry (Bev) Ward of Paw Paw; daughter, Debra (Tony) Scurio of Fennville; grandson, Kyle Scurio of Fennville; son, Dan (Sherry) Lewis of Bloomington, IL. Family will receive friends Tuesday 4-6 p.m. at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw with Rev. C. William Weis officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Wings of Hope Hospice, Allegan.
