Passed away Friday morning January 16, 2004 at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo. John was born June 15, 1937 in Kalamazoo the son of the late John and June (Mulligan) Norg. John was employed by the Kalamazoo State Hospital for over 37 years retiring in November of 2001. On May 31, 1969 in Traverse City, MI John was united in marriage to Jeanne M. Waldo who survives. Also surviving are 3 children, John W. Norg Jr. of Paw Paw, daughter, Patricia Ann Norg of Paw Paw; son, Richard A. (Sally) Norg of Lawrence; 5 grandchildren, Steve, Tyler, Hunter, Haley and Trever Norg; brother, Fred Norg of Anacortes, WA; sister, Mary Oly of Kalamazoo; several niece and nephews. Family will receive friends Sunday 4-6 p.m. at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Monday 11 a.m. Interment will be in Wildey Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
