To the Berner family: When I read about Tom's death in the paper, so many good memories came to my mind of him working at Paw Paw High School. I worked in the Community Ed. program for many years, and he was always so pleasant and helpful to our staff. Tom went out of his way to be friendly and kind to all our students. He was always there to get us what we needed for our classes or in the office, day and night. His wonderful sense of humor was always there, even when he was not happy about a situation. Tom made my job teaching adults and teenagers easier, and I looked forward to the shifts when he was working. My heart goes out to your famly----he will truly be missed.
