To all of the Family Members of Ben:
Ben was my shipmate on the USS Diablo (SS479) Although it has been a lot of years, once a submariner, always a submariner. I know you will all miss him. But he is on eternal patrol with all of the other submariners who have preceded him. My condolences to all of you. He will always be with you as long as you remember him.
Rev. John H. Cunningham
