Kay Marie Thomas 59, of Escanaba passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2004. She was born October 30, 1944 in Battle Creek, MI. Kay grew up in Kalamazoo, attended Kalamazoo Central High School and American Beauty School. She enjoyed traveling, and many hobbies. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Kays family remembers her great sense of humor and contagious laugh. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Josephine Cronk of Paw Paw, husband, James Thomas of Escanaba; grandmother, Fern Shaw of Lawton; son: Joseph Cutler of Adrian, MI; 2 daughters: Lori (Gary) Wozniak of Kalamazoo, and Michelle (Martin) Botham of Grand Rapids, MI; brother: Donald Blair of California; 3 sisters: Linda (Mark) Gardner of Lawrence, MI, Janet (Ron) Bell and Susan Wilson and fiancé Tom Bontekoe all of Paw Paw, MI; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Monday 6-8 p.m. at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Robert F. Creagan officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice.
